How do I search for a book?
You can either enter the author name, title of the book, or ISBN in the search pane. Alternatively, you can also browse by subject.

What kind of condition are the books in?
All of our books are in usable condition. Our inventory consists of books that are brand new, acceptable and/or satisfactory condition. Since some of the books are used they may have highlighting, scratches or minor dents. However, we do go above and beyond to ensure our books have minimal wear and tear.

How much does it cost?
With us you can save up to 80% of the retail price. Prices change all the time due to the supply and demand for a particular title. However, we try to ensure that you get the most competitive price.

What is your policy on highlighting?
You can highlight in the book, but we ask that you be courteous. These books are going to be rented out by other students in the
future. If you excessively mark up the book, you may be charged a damage fee

What if the book is lost or damaged?
You will be accountable, and will be charged the difference between the rental and retail price.

What if I return the book late?
We understand that around exam time it can be very hectic. That is why we provide our customers with a 5-day grace period.
During your selection process you can add up to 10 additional days for $.20/day. Alternatively, you can log into your account and
extend your rental period. However, if your books are still late, you will be charged a late fee of 10%/day.

What if my due date falls on a weekend or a holiday?
Relax; you have a 5-Day grace period.

Can we buy books from your site?
Yes, we do have some titles for sale on our website.

Do you offer e-books as well?
No, we do not offer e-books presently. However, we are looking into this option.

Can I buy my rented books?
No, at the present time you cannot keep the rented books.

What will I be charged if I damage my book?
As mentioned before, you may highlight in the book, but please be courteous. However, if there is minor damage i.e.
excessive marking/highlighting, severely bent covers, you can be charged up to (40%) of the retail price. If the book
is completely destroyed i.e. water damage, ripped pages, you can be charged up to (100%) of the retail price. Please
note that our objective is not to levy fees on students, but to be able to use the book as long as possible. So, please
try to take care of it as if it was yours.

Why did I receive my books from someone other than BookAccess.ca?
We have several affiliates, and if we don’t have an item in stock we may ask them to ship it. However, all
returns will be coming straight to BookAccess.

Are all supplemental materials included with the textbook?
Since the books are being used by several students. We do NOT guarantee that supplemental materials will be included
i.e. CD’s, exercise books, lab manuals, study guides, access codes/cards etc.

Do you only cater to certain schools?
What if I don’t return the book(s)?
We will give you an opportunity to return the book(s) However, if you failed to return the books and there is no correspondence by you. You can be charged up the list price of the book, and your renting privileges terminated.
As stated earlier,we are not here to levy fines, but please be responsible, and try to return the items on time.

How much does shipping cost?
$6.50 for the first item + $2.50 for each additional. Please remember that return shipping is always free.

Where do you ship?
Currently we only ship to addresses in Canada. However, this may change in the near future.

What shipping methods are available?
We ship by Canada Post Expedited Parcel. The shipping time is between 4-7 business days after processing. Please note
that we do not ship to P.O Boxes.

How do I track my order?
Once your order is shipped you will receive a tracking # via email. With this information you will be able to track your
order on the Canadapost.ca website.

What is your no hassle “21-Day” return policy?
Thinking twice about a book, or even if you dropped out of the class. No problem, return the book
to us within 21-Days of your order date for a no hassle refund.

Where do the books get delivered from?
Majority of the books we have in stock at our warehouse, others are delivered via our affiliates in North America.

Can I cancel an order I've recently placed?
If you want to cancel an order, email us and we can do it for you. If the books have already been mailed just return
it to us and we will issue you a credit.

What if my books don’t show up?
Sometimes orders can be delayed, due to observed holidays. However, if your order does not show up at all, please email us and we will
investigate the problem.

What should I do if I received a damaged book?
We try to ensure that our books are in good condition. However, if you received a severely damaged/destroyed book i.e torn cover, ripped pages, water damage, please notify us and send
back the book immediately. We will send you another copy ASAP.

What if I was sent a book that was different than what I ordered?
Please notify us, and send back the book immediately. We will correct the problem on our side and mail out the right book
ASAP.
